The journey so far

ThermoServ Ltd was founded in 1977 by Peter and Carol Beaumont with a view of becoming an established Mechanical and Electrical contracting business within the localised area of Croydon. Through the early years, Peter continued to deliver the works himself often being contacted directly by clients and employees to solve the more complex problems himself along with a few trusted employees with Carol pulling the strings in the office making sure that our clients received an excellent service and our employees attended properties on time every time. 

In 1997 Tarrant Beaumont joined the business as an apprentice working with Peter learning the ropes, gleaning his father’s technical knowledge, experience and becoming one of our most senior technicians passing his exams with excellence which has led to his current role within the business as Operations Director heading up the operational team. The business remains a family-owned enterprise with family values making sure that our employees are at the heart of everything we do in trying to achieve our goals. 

In 2018 a strategy was implemented to allow both Peter and Carol some well-earned rest with retirement looming and to hand over the reins to Tarrant and his Senior Management team to take the business forward. The business introduced Jason Paine as our Commercial Director in 2018 with extensive experience in business growth and strategy, Jason was tasked with increasing the company revenue, exposure within our chosen sectors and working with Tarrant to achieve his goal of becoming a market leader in the Mechanical and Electrical market delivering excellence whilst maintaining both Peter and Carols values.

In 2020 the business moved from its longstanding head office into a newly purchased premises which will allow the business to go from strength-to-strength future-proofing both in terms of size and functionality of the head office itself. The head office is now home to over 20 staff along with Building Management System manufacturing, Welding Enabling works and home to our dedicated operational managers covering Social Housing, Education and Public Buildings as well as Blue Light clients such as Guys and St Thomas.
