Uttlesford District Council

We recently secured the heating installation contract for Uttlesford DC which has an annual budget of £570k split with planned boiler works both boilers only and full heating systems along with ad-hoc boiler installations. The installations are all surveyed prior to any works being completed, the survey includes line drawings of existing radiators and new proposed radiators, along with engineers’ job description sheets to outline their scope of works.

The surveys are then issued to the client for approval and on approval the survey pack is then issued to the engineers attending the property to make sure that they fully understand their works on the day. We have a dedicated contract manage in situ within our regional office in Bishops Stortford who also makes works in progress quality visits as well as 100% post-completion inspections to identify any defects which after installing over 50 full heating installations the client has reported one failed inspection which was then completed under the snagging the following day and signed off accordingly.
